Candy bar pulls are so fun to make. My friend Rochelle has a great tutorial you can follow here http://impressionsbyrochelle.blogspot.com/
The only difference is that I use the Stampin' Up punch as a pull. These were also great sellers at our craft show. Oh, I also used the crimper as a finishing touch on the bottom. These are great for any occassion. I think I'm going to make some Holloween one's for my neighbor kids, just a little something special for them. I'll post what I come up with. Have a great day!

MIA because of the Craft Show!
My friend Brenda and I did our first craft show this weekend. We had a great time! But can I tell you, it is A LOT of work. I think the key is preparing MONTHS in advance.
So, the Friday we have to set up (which was my Aly's 14th bday) I am in a hurry to load up and meet Brenda, that I miss the last step and twist my ankle so bad. I had to go get x-rays and thank God, just a bad sprain. BUT that meant Brenda and her daughter Ashley had to set up. They did a great job. Even with my limited help, we did very well. Thanks to all that inspired us- for sure the popcorn pulls, candy bar pulls and gift card holders were the top sellers. Brenda sold ALL of her Holloween cards- they were fabulous!
Going to attempt to get back on the blogging scene!

Cute Purses!
I saw a great tutorial from STAMPVAMP (Tonya) on how to make these great purses. She made it look so easy, I had to try them. This is what I came up with. I think I will make more of these for the craft show. You can watch her tutorial here http://http//www.stamphappens.com/stamp_happens/2008/08/sweet-little-pu.html
The only thing I did differently is I used my Coluzzle Circle Cutter for the handles instead. I used the extra piece of the 12 x 12 sheet to make 3 cards to put inside and a matching pen. Used my new Stampin Up! stamsp too.
I have had this paper I bought from Hobby Lobby when paper was 50%- so I think it cost me 25 cents. Check out Tonya's tutorial and try one yourself!

Got the Sewing machine out...
I thought I would share some of the cards I am making for the craft show in October. I was totally inspired to make these when I saw the stationary set Michell Wooderson made on her blog. She makes amazing cards. Check out her stuff here http://michellewooderson.blogspot.com/
The stamp is from an old one I had. I just cut it down to a 2 inch square. I used my nesties too.
I picked up the ribbon from Michaels. I am also trying to use some of my "stash" and scraps.
I love the clean, simple look for stationary. I hope you like them

Acetate Box Challenge
These boxes are so easy to make. I did the SC challenge box and am just not getting around to posting it. I used my Scor-Pal for the creases. I really have been giving my Crickut a work out this past few weeks. I am not usually a Disney freak... but when you have that little cutter doing it all for you, well... it's easy to get carried away.
Here's the directions for the box and the thread to see tons of beutiful designs!
I filled it with kisses.

Finally...
What a crazy time! Kids are back in school and life still doesn't feel like normal (whatever that is)! ANYWAY... really going to try to make a go at this blog thing. I have been inspired by so many, and even get irritated when they don't update! I love to see what everyone is doing.
So here we go! Oh, I also signed up to be a STAMPIN' UP demonstrator. I should get my kit this week. I'll share when it gets here.
I will start with the most current stuff I am working and then share all the stuff we are making for the Holiday Craft Shows. These are jumpo paper clips you can get at Walmart. I used my Cricut for the Mickey top. These are for Michelle's Disney clip swap here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11069510#post11069510
you can see what everyone else is doing too.
I made these a little bit different so I can attach a business card to the back. These will be cute to pass to potential SU clients.
Thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment and let me know you were here.

Changuito Card
What a crazy morning! I got a screw in my tire, so I went to Discount Tires and they fixed it for FREE! I walked over to Starbucks while I was waiting for them to fix it and the "barista" gave me a coupon for a FREE drink on my next visit. So... I am off to a great day! Here's a changuito card that I made. The palm tree is from Quickutz and Changuito and saying are from Stampendous. I added a little "bling" for the coconuts! My friend Kristin suggested I use blue as the background. I don't know if you can tell, but I ran n through the circle folder on my Cuttlebug. Hope you are all having a great day!

My First Post...
I have been stalking lots of fellow stampers and I am hooked! This is a great place to display all my creations and share new ideas too. So, my first post is some Summer and Floral Card Candy I made for a swap over at Splitcoaststamers (my other obsession)! Card candy are small 3-D elements that you can add to a card or scrapbook layout.
I hope you enjoy my creations. Thanks for stopping by.
